I’m a Graphic Designer with 4 years of experience designing with the Utah Grizzlies and nearly 2 years with KUTV2 News. My experience includes creating Web Ads, Billboards, Motion Graphics, Photoshop Image Editing, and more. I also have 10+ years of freelance projects from Graphic Design Projects to Web Design and Development.

I hold a B.S. Degree in Digital Media, with an emphasis in Internet Technologies. While in the Internet Technologies program my main focus in curriculum was Interaction Design.

I’m passionate about design and I’m always open to new opportunities. At the beginning of every project my motivation is to understand the people I am designing for, not just the client, but the end user. I always try to approach every project with a focus on a human-centered design experience.

Graphic Designer II – Bristol Health

2018 – 2020

  • Designed and created sales and marketing materials such as flyers, brouchures, ads for the marketing team.
  • Maintained the current WordPress website also wireframed and mocked-up new design for a web redesign

Graphic Designer II – KUTV2 NEWS
Jan 2017 – 2018

Created broadcast graphics for the daily Newscasts. Fulfilling graphic requests from Producers, Editors, Reporters, and the Art Director. My major responsibilities include:

  • Creating. custom graphic “Monitors” (the picture usually behind the news anchor”
  • Fullscreen graphics
  • And some animated bumpers,  promos, and contest graphics

Graphic Designer / Volunteer Charity Work – CCD Smiles
SEP 2017 – 2020

Colaborated one-on-one with the Founder of CCD Smiles to brainstorm ideas, wording, and layouts for a myriad of projects that I designed for them including, tri-fold brochures, graphical email invites, posters, flyers, web ads, and conference information brochures.

Graphic Designer – UTAH GRIZZLIES
SEP 2014 – PRESENT

I started as an intern in 2014 doing in-game highlights, updated website content and created web ads. My role quickly expanded and the past three seasons I have created all of their outdoor billboards (Digital and 30-sheet), Web Ads, Game Opener Hype videos and more.

Pretty straight forward internship. I mainly cut out images in photoshop. Then laid out page spreads in InDesign.

So, upon completing the Film Production Degree requirements I switched to the Graphic Design: Multimedia program.  Upon completing that I realized I wanted to transfer to UVU, but in order to do that I needed a general associates degree, So I switched to general AS before transferring to UVU
