I always value the work of non-profits and charity organizations. So any time I get the opportunity to give what little I can I do. Which usually manifests itself in the form of donating time and resources creating design work.
I have had the pleasure to work with an organization called CCD Smiles on several occasions. This particular work was a flyer to promote the very first CCD Smiles conference. CCD (cleidocranial dysplasia) is a very rare genetic abnormality it is estimated that only one out of every million people have this genetic abnormality. So many people with CCD have never met anyone else with CCD.
This event brought together 130+ people with CCD from across the United States and 4 other countries. It was a really surreal experience to see all these people with CCD gather in SLC and see others with CCD for the first time in their lives and know that they are not alone. And it was great to have played a small part in helping out with such an amazing event.
